We Seek your Support

Dear Friends and Well-wishers of TRACI,

Greetings from TRACI !

As the year draws to a close, we look back with gratitude for the amazing ways in which God has led us as an organization to influence and impact people across India and in a few neighboring countries. Our call to “facilitate integrated response and transformative engagements through theological reflections on contemporary and relevant issues” has been made possible by the various programmes that we undertook over the year. The participants and the staff that journeyed with us stand testament to God being at work through the efforts of TRACI.

One of the highlights of the year was the TRACI Art Residency that was organized in association with Art for Change. The residency had a profound impact on the 11 artists who participated. The affirmation from the scripture provided for them a clarity on their calling as artists and released many of them from their doubts and confusion of pursuing arts. The artists have gone out with a new found confidence to pursue kingdom purposes with their art and with the assurance that TRACI and the new associations that they made in the residency will stand by them as they chalk out their path ahead.

The other activities that we have been carrying out over the years like the training programmes, monthly reflections and the publications have continued unhindered with more people being blessed by its outcome. We look forward to the completion of a couple of our research projects in the new year. We are grateful to God for the new staff that has joined TRACI this past year.

God has been faithful in enabling TRACI to be a voice that closely resonates with God’s desire for justice, righteousness and mercy. As we are in the Christmas season of celebration and joy, may we also be mindful of the pain, loss and hurt that persists across the world on account of conflict, war, inequality and climate change. May our celebration be filled with hope that the promise of child is towards a “government that will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end.” May we all be harbingers of that hope and promise as we with engage with the world around. Our life and engagement in the world would ring in that future however faint and feeble it may be.

We are grateful to God for each of you who have stood with us this past year and supported us in various ways. We look forward to your continued support so that together we can help “communities of followers of Jesus Christ” embrace their God given mission of truly being salt and light in a decaying and dark world. To that end may each of us commit ourselves each year with renewed vigor and passion “to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus has taken hold of us” both as individuals and TRACI community.

Wishing you all a meaningful and blessed Christmas and happy and purposeful new year.

In His service,
Joseph Manoharan
