Responding to Dementia

What I Wish I Had Known Sooner and Done Better

Robin & Shoko Thomson worked for 20 years in India, teaching and training church leaders. Later, Robin continued to be involved, through Interserve, South Asian Concern and particularly the School of Biblical Teaching. When Shoko was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2012, they had no idea what lay ahead. Over the next seven years they experienced profound change in their life together and their relationship, as the disease progressed.

Robin will share their experience and lead a discussion on how we can help churches and families to understand dementia and develop a better response.
